I am *so* excited! I found the world's cutest t-shirts! 

I was browsing Etsy this morning for discounted Earth Day shirts when I ran across a super-cute, comfy-looking t-shirt with a tree on it that make a peace sign. "Clever..." I thought, and headed to the seller's shop to view other designs. 

I am addicted to her page! I love all her designs, particularly the peace tree one and the cute little rumpy bunny one I saw. I can't even describe the coziness level these shirts appear to have. You'll have to go see for yourself.  Oh, and the seller's store is named after her baby, Wren Willow. Such a pretty name! Ya know what else I love? If she has a shirt that doesn't turn out quite right, she doesn't toss it....She sells it at a discount in her "Oops" section! *LOVE*

Spring is upon us. I know many of my Southern Indiana readers are enjoying the last few days of mild, sunny weather! To compliment the fresh spring colors that are on their way, let's have a look at some of the *cutest* fabric prints I have ever seen. 


Back to SweetBees Studio we go for an update. My last feature of SweetBees Studio was a huge hit.....and guess what!!!   She has new items!  New style wallets, belts, 'curvy' clutches, and new patterns. I know lots of ladies are itching for a new spring purse or diaper bag...she has them! And graduation is just around the corner. I just have to share this with you all. I discovered this musical duo through a friend several months ago and fell in love. I purchased Renee & Jeremy's It's A Big World album after hearing their song Powder Blue on my friend's website, and have had the joy of listening to their music practically everyday since. Then in November, I purchased a second copy of the same album to give to my best friend and her husband and 2 boys for Christmas. They LOVE it!

My kids and I love this album because it's mellow and singable. And I cannot stress enough the difference in sound, style, and content from typical children's music. A review I read called Renee & Jeremy's music 'family music' rather than children's music, which is perfectly fitting. The songs speak just as much to me as a parent as they do to my kiddos.  Somehow this pair has managed to jump directly into my heart and mind and verbalize my thoughts and feelings for my own babies. When I hear these songs, I feel like I am right there in the nursery watching a mama and a daddy love on their sleeping baby.

Renee & Jeremy have a new album out called C'Mon. The new songs are more upbeat than the the songs on the previous album, making it great for playtime, while  It's a Big World is still our favorite lullaby or calm time CD. I can't say enough good things about their music. I love the way their music makes me feel. I love idea they create that say love is not complacent, but rather proactive. I love that I can feel the bond between parent and child just by listening to them sing.  I love that my own kids crave this music. My 18 month old daughter wants me to sing Powder Blue to her all the time. In fact, we no longer listen to the radio in the car (which is fine by me- it's all garbage anyway). Our trips across town involve me singing Powder Blue or Free to my smiling shorties in the back seat.  And ya know what, I love the art on the album covers!

Being a photographer, I spend a lot of time on the computer. I have created a new routine since finding Renee & Jeremy's music. While processing my images from a shoot, you can bet that I am playing the It's A Big World album on my laptop. It is the perfect mood music. It pushes my creativity and keeps the parent/child bond at the forefront of my mind, which is what I strive to focus on in my photography. I am thrilled to have enjoyable music that is child-appropriate to help keep me in the right mindset while I work. Renee & Jeremy get a perfect 10 from me and my kids!

I had the joy of redecorating Tali's bedroom (and Kai's, too) for Christmas. I posted some pics on my Facebook page and I got a lot of positive feedback! Many wanted to know where I got her bedspread. I am happy to feature some of my favorite products from a local company called SweetBees Studio. (cutest name ever!)

SweetBees Studio is a homegrown business by a local gal I met several years ago. (Actually I used to care for her daughter, and now she is all grown up!) The items are probably the most well-crafted creations I have ever seen. I have purchased a SweetBees Baby quit and 2 SweetBees purses. I am thrilled with the quality, and everyone LOVES the patterns! 

Sweet Bees carries several purse/shoulder bag styles. My favorite is a narrow messenger style, which perfectly fits a travel case of wipes, a couple diapers, and my wallet. Perfect for quick trips to the store. I hate lugging diaper bags! In addition to quilts and bags, available are keychains, clipboards, bibs, and hot iron covers.
